AfterTech (Spriteless Demo)
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
AfterTech is a cyberpunk visual novel set in the near future. Inspired by Narutaru, Digimon, and Serial Experiments Lain.
This short demo includes chapter one, and no artwork or character sprites.

Jonas is a hacker who stumbles upon a mysterious conspiracy online. During his investigation, he finds a lone egg in the wired, a virtual expanse of online connections. This egg soon hatches, and he meets a creature who assigns itself as his new best friend!
However, unknown to both of them, Jonas isn't the only one who uncovered a digital egg that day...

You did a great job setting a vibe that really pushes the Lain aesthetic. I can't wait to see where the atmosphere and the story takes me.
Amazing start. Very nice story telling. I can't get over that street scene when he starts realizing aKat is something special. The music and imagery makes you feel like you are there.
